For all my myLot friends - I would like to share some advice that some of my friends on myLot told me about. I thought I'd share it with you, since it can really multiply your earnings on myLot. I have been informed that, when you post/reply to discussions, if you write at least six lines, you will be paid a higher amount for that, than if you were to just write one or two lines. If you can keep your sentences short, then six lines is not a lot ! So friends, try to keep this advice in mind for your future discussions and the money start to add up quicker than it was before.

Using telomeres products to stop aging

Aging is one thing which affects us all. Time affects us all differently and some people are more harshly affected by it than others. Yet, most of us have a desire to regain our youth even if it is an illusion. Regaining our youth has a positive effect on our well being besides making others more friendly towards us. Yet, how do we weave this illusion so that we are able to get what we want? There are a few methods to do this. A change of diet helps greatly in removing the impurities in our body. Laser skin treatment does wonders. The last item which is a brand new breakthrough is telomere. It can be described as a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome which protects the end of the chromosome from deterioration or from fusion with neighboring chromosomes. Its name is derived from the Greek nouns telos (τέλος) "end" and merοs (μέρος, root: μερ-) "part". The telomere regions deter the degradation of genes near the ends of chromosomes by allowing for the shortening of chromosome ends, which necessarily occurs during chromosome replication. telomerase is an enzyme that adds DNA sequence repeats to the end of DNA strands in the telomere region. The enzyme telomerase allows for replacement of short bits of DNA which are otherwise shortened when a cell divides. With the presence of telomerase, each dividing cell can replace the lost bit of DNA, and any single cell can then divide unbounded. While this unbounded growth property has excited many researchers, caution is warranted in exploiting this property, as exactly this same unbounded growth is a crucial step in enabling cancerous growth. Some experiments have raised questions about telomeres products anti aging therapy, namely, the fact that mice with elevated levels of telomerase have higher cancer incidence and hence do not live longer. In addition, certain premature aging syndromes have been associated with telomere shortening. Telomerase also favors tumorogenesis, leading to questions about its potential as an anti-aging therapy. Mice engineered to block the gene that produces telomerase unless they are given a certain drug aged at a much faster rate and died at about six months, instead of reaching the average mouse lifespan of about three years. Administering telomeres at 6 months turned on telomerase production and caused their organs to be "rejuvenated," restored fertility, and normalized their ability to detect or process odors. The finding raises hope for accelerated aging disorders, as well as possible organ regeneration therapies, such as repair of liver damage due to hepatitis or alcoholism.
