For all my myLot friends - I would like to share some advice that some of my friends on myLot told me about. I thought I'd share it with you, since it can really multiply your earnings on myLot. I have been informed that, when you post/reply to discussions, if you write at least six lines, you will be paid a higher amount for that, than if you were to just write one or two lines. If you can keep your sentences short, then six lines is not a lot ! So friends, try to keep this advice in mind for your future discussions and the money start to add up quicker than it was before.

Going on a contact lens hunt

So, it finally had to happen. I had gone in for the regular driver license renewal and one of the mandatory features is the eye sight test where they put you behind some machine to test your eye sight. I always thought that my eye sight was just fine until they told me that I needed to wear glasses as my eye sight was a bit weak. So, my hunt began for the perfect pair of contact lenses began in earnest. I wanted something which was stylish and yet affordable.

After getting my eyesight tested at the optometrist clinic, it was time for me to pick a pair of glasses. I chose a soflens toric type. I consider eyeglasses a personal and fashion style statement. Therefore, choosing the right brand is extremely important as it projects the image that we want to send across. It is all about having fun without getting stressed out from needless worries and tension. Some memories last a lifetime and they become more pleasant if the right choices are made. So, go ahead and plan out your purchase in style, save money by shopping smartly and have a blast. It all about having fun while getting the look right. Read more...

      Photos made easy

I have varied interests and activities. Some of the activities which I am really crazy about are: Football, Music, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, Wrestling, Basketball and Super Bowl Playoff games and of course taking photographs. I try to make sufficient time so that I can enjoy all my activities as much as possible.

Out of all of my hobbies, I simply enjoy photography the most. It is a good way of retaining one experience in some type of physical form and the viewer can revisit the bygone era whenever the urge strikes. Over the years, I had gone to many different locations and attended many events. I always managed to take my camera long and bring back many memories of these events. At some time, I realized that I was running out of space and needed to store them at some other place rather than my computers hard disk drive.

The main hassle has always been organizing the photos and trying to free up as much space as possible. After spending many hours trying to figure out what to print and which picture to choose, I decided to use the 123Print services instead of going away empty handed and really frustrated wondering why I went through all the hassle and this has helped me to completely bypass all the stress and frustrations I used to face before. The Rodent files part III - Final

The grey cat finally reached the safety of the woods from where all this adventure had started. He need not fear any living being now and he boldly headed where he feared to tread once before. Yes, off to the rodents tree house and he was climbing it like a hungry monkey after a ripe banana.

What an amazing tree. It had all of the modern conveniences like centralized air conditioning, full house Wi-Fi, wall to wall plush carpeting. Teak furniture, a cellar full of….well nuts, an attic full of more nuts. This squirrel was well stocked for any kind of emergency. I sank into the couch and started to flip through the television channel trying to find something interesting. I wasn’t really hungry so I didn’t raid the midget fridge in the kitchen.

The cat really doesn’t know how long it had dozed off yet he woke up with a feeling of dread. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t pin point the reason why nor shake this feeling off. There was something out there and he could feel it in his bones. A Duck which had been hiding under the couch all along sneaked out and started to run out the door. The startled cat must have jumped at least 10 feet into the air and got stuck in the ceiling fan. As it was stepping out the door, it spied the cat hanging from the ceiling fan. Overcoming its fear, the Duck ran back inside and headed straight for the fans control switch. It turned the fan on at full volume and started to throw water balloons at the poor cat as it swung by. The cat soon lost control and flew right into the washing machine. The lid was closed and it started to spin round and round.

What saved the cat from washing machines spin cycle was the power outage. Something was coming and it was approaching fast. The sky grew dark and the Duck sensing danger ran out the open door. The cat yelled out “Noooo...don't go and leave me here all alone. It's just too scary here.” But the Duck was gone and was left behind to fend for himself.

In the darkness, he heard the all too familiar growl. The Gator was at the door....something else was scratching at the window...The wild wind...I think its wind and not some demons howl...was calling out its name....The lights were flickering and the cat peed in its pants.

Out of the shadows emerged the huge gator who growled “We’ve been looking for ya. You can run but you can’t hide. Now pay the food tab before I get hungry and start to munch on ya “. The bill was paid in full and in record time with an extra huge tip. Fully satisfied, the old man swung around and started to make an exit. The curious cat which just couldn’t hold it tongue any longer asked “Hey old man….you seem to be alone. So, where are the others?” Look out the window silly and you will get your answer was all that was said. The shaking/quaking cat somehow managed to crawl to the window and draw the curtains aside. Its hair stood on its end and he turned pure white in fright. It was the acorn throwing squirrel tapping at the window. The poor cat ran out the house and back into the woods and the squirrel followed behind. So, the chase began anew. Read more...

                              The Farmville effect

It was bound to happen. You see, most of my family have become Farmville addicts and the game is taking its affect in real life. Somehow I have become one of the characters of this game. I don’t remember its name. It’s the little puppy which you are supposed to feed every so often and it grows up to be a dog or something like it. Anyway, they have started using the different commands on each other and myself.
O was told to sit and so I sat. For awhile it was fun as I started flipping thru the channels and checking out to see if I could find something interesting. Zilch. I was bored and started to fidget. As the chair was one of those rotating type, I started to spin crazily like to top hoping it would drive the boredom away.

So, I tried sitting in one spot all day in my home...but then I remembered that since no one told me to "stay"....I started roaming around and ummm...marking all the tires in my area as mine...sorry...couldn't find a fire hydrant or else I would have marked that as mine also...dang it.... somehow, I have wandered here on the net and you all better hide everything or else…lol Read more...
