Clock ticks backwards
Memories flood the mind
Emotions colors the world
A raging river called life
Blistering winds rage inside
Haunting demons weigh me down
Bitter memories from which I hide
Pool of hate in which I drown
Bitter moments linger
No escape from haunting past
Heavy burden weighs me down
Genie in the drawer preaches hate

The phone call
Black clouds rolled from one end of the sky to the other. Thunder rolled across the sky and a raging storm was brewing yet it was less than the one in my mind. Ever so gently, I put the phone down back in its cradle and looked up the stairs. Mary Jane was still whispering sweet nothings to someone called Jim. A drop of rage started to boil the sea as bitter moments pulsate through veins. The clock starts to tick backward. Resentment hardens the soul. Anger colors my world. Slipping the ring off my finger and placing it on the counter top, I yank the drawer open. Looking over my shoulder, I see Mary Jane walking down the stairs. Reaching into the deep drawer, I start to get up. Read more...

Throwing knives paradise
A sword is a bladed weapon of more than 50cm (20in) in overall length used primarily for cutting or thrusting. All have a blade and a handle, known as the hilt. Blades may be straight, curved, single-edged, double-edged or just pointed. Hilts vary considerably in style and length, and may include protective guards for the hand. Detailed design depends on the historical epoch or the geographical region under consideration. The use of a sword is known as swordsmanship or fencing. Basic principles have remained fairly constant through the centuries, but the actual techniques vary among cultures and periods as a result of the differences in blade design and purpose. The sword is said to be the emblem of military honor and should incite the bearer to a just and generous pursuit of honor and virtue. It is symbolic of liberty and strength. In the Middle Ages, the sword was often used as a symbol of the word of God.
One type of swords are samurai sword. In the strictest sense the term katana in Japanese is applied to any kind of single-edged sword, of any origin, and does not necessarily refer to a Japanese sword. "Katana" was originally used as a general term for a single-edged sword having a "Sori" or curvature of the blade. While the "Sugata" or form can take many shapes, including double edged that are 2 shaku (606 mm / 24 in) and longer. The katana evolved as a more sleek and compact alternative to the Tachi. The popularity of this type of samurai swords growth in popularity is believed to have been due to the changing nature of close-combat warfare. The quicker draw of the sword was well suited to combat where victory depended heavily on fast response times. The katana further facilitated this by being worn thrust through a belt-like sash (obi) with the bladed edge facing upwards. Ideally, samurai could draw the sword and strike down the enemy in a single motion. Previously, the curved Tachi had been worn with the edge of the blade facing down and suspended from a belt.

A knife (plural knives) is a cutting tool with an exposed cutting edge hand-held or otherwise, with or without a handle. Many cultures have their unique version of the knife. Due to its role as humankind's first tool, certain cultures have attached spiritual and religious significance to the knife. Most modern-day knives follow either a fixed-blade or a folding construction style, with blade patterns and styles as varied as their makers and countries of origin. One example of this is throwing knife which is designed and weighted for throwing. Throwing knives are used by many cultures around the world, and as such different tactics for throwing them have been developed, as have different shapes and forms of throwing knife. A wielder must be well versed in the various properties of his or her specific knives, such as their center of gravity and the spin of the weapon as it flies. Some Throwing knives wielders are highly trained in many types of knives, and may be able to throw any sharp pointed objects.
